Absolutely agree. I am a user of Paypal since 2007 and anyone would think that 13 years of user experience to Paypal would make me a loyal customer (like how people keep using Facebook which started around that time).
After 13 years, Facebook is my everyday life but not paypal. I even stay away from using paypal while collecting my money from customers through online second hand sale. They could use the Covid opportunity to expand massively for cardless payment face to face and they just missed this opportunity. I now only use Paypal coz it remembers my credit card details. I now use Afterpay and Zip for most of the checkouts even paying bills.
