Yes there is likely some under reporting. Same with all companies. SPT % is tiny. It would need to be only reported at 10th of the real number to even then start to possibly have an impact on the SP.
A shorted stock with reported shorts in excess of 6% are likely battling some capping. I don't see that here at all.
You can usually spot in the orders and course of sales if its taking place.
I focus on shares that are heavily shorted, as they often end up going well under fair value, and believe me I don't think SPT falls into that category. at the moment.
