Even though PayPal is a big player in the market. I would be surprised if 20-30 year olds (Who make up alot of the clients) choose this over BNPL brands. As a business owner I know PayPal has not been a first choose for payment gateway. It will be interesting to see how they decide to onboard merchants. I know APT alrady has strong brand appeal with 20-30's not PayPal. Other BNPL brands have done a great job in integrating with businesses and getting the free marketing that comes with it. PayPal is as old as my grandma. I think they are to big to care about the smaller details BNPL target. PayPal would almost need to rebrand a BNPL product to get strong penetration.
