Happy to be proven correct on this one and would love some confirmation... from memory, merchants are allowed to pass the PayPal transaction fee onto the customer. I would have that that based on this logic, the customer (who holds the power as to which payment option they choose) would be purchasing the same product at a more expensive cost if they chose the PayPal BNPL. I'm pretty sure this is the case in Australia and wouldn't be surprised if it's also the case in the US et al.
