re: pbi realists Javip and blokes,
I think that the company has done some good work behind the scenes, but that is irrelevant when the shareprice has teetered from 37 cents only 8 weeks ago to a low of 20cents today.
Wouldnt you much rather have loved the technology and have bought at 20 and it now be 37??
We can continue (until the cows come home) try to justify the price going down.........However if we have bought in this trend then i have to question the investment stratergy.
Javip, i used to think like you, yes i used to research what sounded good and hold it......What does it matter whether we think its good?? There is only one thing that tells us whether our investment has been a good one or not...and that is the PROFIT we make...i am not a day trader, but i like to time my investment.
As you can now see, anyone that bought PBI at 40cents because of the story is now 50% lighter on paper..... if he liked the story so much could have doubled his holding at a lesser price
There are so many companies that have good stories...... but unless the timing is right we will never make money.
I will not question that PBI will not be a good buy.......
The question is when will it be a good buy......
And for the last 12 months it has been a terrible buy.
And that is 12 months wasted investment
