Dr. Stephanie Neville is not just a young new doctor interested in otitis but already she has 14 publications about different bacteria and about zinc and other metals in infections. She was one of the authors in the PBT2 paper published on Jan 11 this year ( the ampicillin study) so she knows PBT2 very well. So she is not an ear doctor but a microbiologist. To do this study she needs many people around herself but most likely the grant will provide everything needed.
