so denk tell me....you are having a good ol' whinge about the problem as you see it but what was the correct answer for the deputy commissioner at that time. Should she have abandoned all the calming PC speak and instead proclaimed her righteous outrage at all Muslims?? Doing so may have tipped a lot of primal boneheads, both Muslim and non-Muslim, into civil war on our streets. Is that what you would like to see?? Should we turn our country into another middle east so that the rest of us who want no part in this anti-Muslim hatred can't even walk down the street without worrying whether we will walk into a fire fight??

Muslims are here in this country now whether you like it or not. They have been here for a hundred years and they were invisible to us until 911. Many were born here. So our choices are that we either continue to work towards building an integrated society (as difficult as they seems at times) or we all stand on our "principles" like they do in the ME and declare that there is room for us but not for the other guys....that's what they do in Palestine.....and how is that working for them??
