SMSF's are highly regulated although they keep chirping they are not.
Whoever glued together the fact-sheet could either be envious because they don't have an SMSF themselves, or have been paid by the retail funds to scare the shi* out of SMSF trustees.
It's your money, you worked for it, and all taxpayers should be grateful they don't have to bail us out if we loose our dough, unlike retail funds recently crying to the gov't for bailout measures because they didn't have the liquidity to pay their members their own money due to gov't regulation.
