Nobody here is privy to any negotiations taking place so have no idea as to the timing or whether they will need a CR or not. Historically they have only raised small amounts to keep the business going so its anybody's guess if that would continue or would they take an opportunity to raise more while sp is up? Guess it depends on those negotiations that nobody knows anything about (apart from the 4 majors in the data room?) Any mid tier companies or have the presence of those majors scared others away?

In any case we've had weekly predictions of deals being announced the last couple of months but I guess someone will guess the lucky week.

The prediction has been "prepare to be amazed ", so I hope for all shareholders it will be "wow" and not "is that it?".

For me I just need some sort of sign that this stock is different to my last oiler which challenged every preconceptions i had on the oil industry. Maybe that MD was the sole failure of that company. Maybe nobody wanted Woodside for a JV partner that they only got under $2 a barrel after paying for a dozen evaluation wells and approval for development. You're scarred for life after that experience.

Having said that, that company had a few billion shares pre-discovery, went from 2 cents to 8 pre-drill and up to 13 cents on confirmation of discovery before deciding to go to development, diluting shareholders and taking close to 7 years to make the trip back to 1 cent. They do say timing is everything.

So I want to see a deal with good cash component and a good holding retained. There will be a jump on open but I can see it continue until drilling so would be happy as a holder. If the deal given is underwhelming then to me its more of a trading stock and maybe keep a small holding as a lottery ticket for drilling results

May fortune favour the brave in this stock. I have to say there are a number here with strong convictions and claims to very large holdings. Good luck.
