According to this, it is BBEIF that has the 23% stake.... Interest in this sector from buyers it would seem.

Salta Company Investments disclosed it had picked up a 3.8pc stake in Forth Ports.
According to the regulatory filing, some of the voting rights and financial instruments are effectively held by Peel Holdings, which is run by Mr Whittaker. Peel Holdings currently has a stake in the Mersey Docks & Harbour Company, and also owns the Manchester Ship Canal.
Some traders, however, were sceptical the stakebuilding would lead to a bid.
In part, this is because the Babcock & Brown European Infrastructure Fund (BBEIF) still has a 23pc shareholding in Forth Ports. Most market practitioners are waiting to see what happens to the BBEIF's stake as its Australian parent company goes through a major restructuring.
The gossip in the Square Mile is that BBEIF, an unlisted fund, is planning to break away from Babcock & Brown. Forth Ports gained 7 to £10.
