And it will continue into 2025 without any definitive time line for either the ESIA approval and then the Exploitation Permit grant.
The September quarterly statement of the work planned for the December quarter was;
Advance the permitting for the Bankan Gold Project. Complete the ESIA certification process and formally initiate the Exploitation Permit process (subject to reopening of the Ministry of Mines & Geology’s Cadastre system).
The ESIA certification has yet to occur.Without this certification the Exploitation Permit application cannot be made and to top things off it seems no permits of any nature can issue until the cadastre  system is up and running.
There seems to be no reason why the ESIA certification process and the Exploitation permit process cannot continue albeit the actual issue of the Exploitation permit may require the cadastre system to be functioning.
It would be good if the company kept us more fully informed as to its progress in getting ESIA approval.Once ESIA approval is granted we can then start to feel we are getting somewhere in the Exploitation permit process.
I have no idea as to what the uplift in the share price will be  when the Exploitation Permit is granted ,hopefully it is 45c plus.
What I am sure of is PRU will pounce  when the terms of the Exploitation permit are published.
In the meantime let us hope the gold price remains high if not higher than at present.
