Sorry VA not SA, silly 3 minute edit rule.
Also new shorts yesterday were 1.8M shares but the latest Shortman data from 1 week ago has the short positions overall down from 106M to 97M. A lot of buying might be shorts covering.
Do not blame the share price on shorts and manipulation. 10 years of losses and cashflow difficulties along with the bondholder problem are the real reasons some are taking whatever they can get IMO.
