Whilst I believe that Areva may be interested in PDN's stake in Summit Resources, I agree they definitely don't have the financial clout to take out PDN on their own.
If Cameco are indeed following behind John Borshoff, a little too closely, they inturn should keep an eye out for BHP . . . . . IMO.
I believe in July the BHP board will decide whether to approve the $30 Billion expansion of Olympic Dam. There are now many compelling reasons why BHP might shy away from this grandiose plan, and instead look at individual projects which suit its future needs.
Should PDN do a cash deal with Areva for Summit early in the new financial year, I would see this as the fuse being lit, with fireworks to closely follow.
On the other hand it could all just be shop talk from the guys at WooBS.
