yes you are so correct...
BHp have come out kicking and screaming about the affect the carbon tax will have on the industry..all its operations

and they have made it clear they will have to consider investing outside aust....
they also have said the general global business consensus is that this carbon tax makes aust unattractive for investment

Gillard will go fed Labor will go....they will not see out a full term in office...the numbers they have to form govt are on a knife's edge......
independants are wavering and the speaker of the house may well face dismissal...then we have that one Labor member now not a party member as I recall sitting on the back benches...and he may well face charges and then be brought before parliament and face dismissal.
..if not by the parliament...the opposition may well present a strong enough petition to the Governor for his dismissal...

a good time to have bought Pdn on that low point and be prepared to wait out June...but who knows action may come sooner..maybe just before the end of June...

another point I missed..

is the TOp 20 do not have to report any increases in holdings if they are an increase of under 1%

so if several of them did increases under the reporting mark of 1% we could be seeing the top 20 sitting in the mid to high 80% range and not be aware of it......

then there are the nominees that can be set up that can conceal buys under the 5% reporting level.....no one knows if there are new ones and how many........

The you have Newmont with there holdings....not there ball game....non core asset and not producing a return.....
..not long back there were rumors that they were going to sell or had been approached by a buyer...they dismissed the rumor...but where there is smoke you generally find fire.....
