Night stalker I remember you too. You wrote exactly how I felt back then. I’m actually still in shock about what happened . I had 100,000 PDN shares that I paid $1.00 average for . They took 98% of those . Yes they were worth a pittance at the time but seeing them now at 82c actually kills me all over again. I realise they wouldn’t have made it otherwise probably but how is it possible that those shares are taken from people who buy them as property . I mean they weren’t on loan. How can they be repossessed ? I’ve never seen that happen before .
im now in the crypto market and I always laugh when someone suggests crypto is “unsafe “ or “volatile “ compared to stocks . Nothing was safe about owning PDN stocks back then.

and yes I concur with your answer - once a capital loss is logged it is carried forward indefinitely to offset capital gains. There’s no time limit . But you may need to amend your 2018 statement to account for the loss And get it logged
