Langer Heinrich Mine not yet for sale
The general manager of Langer Heinrich Mine (LHM), Werner Duvenhage, has dismissed reports that Paladin Energy Limited is selling off a 15% to 20% stake of its uranium mining operation in Namibia.
Langer Heinrich Uranium is a member of the Paladin Energy group of companies and is the corporate entity which holds the group's 100% interest in the Langer Heinrich Mine, which is situated 80km east of Walvis Bay in the Erongo Region. The Daily Business Spectator, publication in Australia, quoted the Australian Financial Review (AFR) on Thursday, which in an earlier report said Paladin managing director, John Borshoff, has flagged that the mine could sell a 15 to 20% stake in one of its African uranium projects within weeks. It was reported that Paladin's larger Langer Heinrich uranium mine was the most likely candidate for the stake sale
