As the unit cost of next gen variants approaches the price that makes them attractive to the mass market I expect to see an explosion in take up. Look at the adoption rate of mobile phones now. Australia actually has more active mobile phone accounts than there are people. Access via phone (3G) or internet to control access and to monitor security and/or access and/or operational factors of homes and businesses and farms and boats and ATMs and high-end retail items in stores etc make this technology among the most important of all. The market will increase exponentially with hundreds of millions in automotive and similar numbers in a range of other industries. In a decade we will wonder how we ever did without them.
