Should be an ASX rule which restricts shareholders who lodge a 249D from trading shares right up to the time of the GM - that includes placing a temporary freeze on their stock.
Either way, those people lodging the 249D should not have the liberty to either profit, and/so influence voting, by manipulating the share price.
