MAP: Geraldton 6530 The Mid West Chamber of Commerce and Industry says the region's annual mining conference will showcase the "unique" resource opportunities in the region.
Tomorrow's Mid West International Mining Forum will showcase the region's major developments in the iron ore, gold, uranium, garnet, mineral sands and oil and gas industries.
The forum includes speakers from state and federal governments and mining companies, including Oakajee hopeful, Padbury.
Chamber CEO Rob Jefferies says there will also be key speakers who will discuss the Chinese economy.
"The national president of the Australia China Business Council, consul general of the People's Republic of China, about what's happening in China," he said.
"There's a lot of speculation about China and their future and what that means to the region.
"People will be able to hear it from the horse's mouth."
