You are not a coward protecting yourself and those around you from getting infected by COVID-19. It is pretty likely that this 75 year old man has a partner around the same age and even more likely friends of the same age. If he gets ill and spreads it to these people he is putting all their lives in danger. Thousands are dying everyday in the USA from COVID-19 so it is not some hypothetical risk.

I believe he has the right to peaceful protest. Just because you have the right to do something does not mean you should do it.
