Everyone seems to think the honesty, integrity, and independence of the Board from vested interests will be much higher if Peacock is there.
Despite what you think he IS highly respected by the many "Mums and Dads" that have their hard-earned in MFS funds.
The suck-out of money will increase if Peacock goes - that's why I want him there. It's a simple commonsense decision. You want him to go because of something behind us. Mistake or not you need to forget that and think ahead. That's all that matters now.
Eventually all the money will go from the Funds. We all know that. But with Peacock there the flow will be much slower and that will give the Board more time to get the Company in shape.
