It was up to the Yes campaign to convince Australians to make the change.

Blaming Dutton for the failures just shows how weak and shallow the Yes campaign really was. Albo and Co. turned a strong Yes into a strong No.

If you want to lay blame, blame Albo, Burney, Pearson, Langton etc etc.

Talking down to people was never going to work. Using celebrities was never going to work.

Despite near constant ABC and SBS coverage, despite having millions donated by big business, the simple fact is the Yes side failed.

Suck it up.
