SBL stacks up very well when compared with its peers. I have made comparisons with other gold explorers in West Africa.
SBL's Konongo gold project has 1.47m oz of gold @ 1.95 g/t, mkt cap currently $66.9m ($6.8m in cash) Production of 26,000 oz in the first year with first gold pour some time this qtr.
AMX has 2.2m oz of gold @ 1.6g/t, mkt cap $588m ($43.5m in cash)
AZM has 1.2m oz of contained gold @ 2g/t, mkt cap currently $192m ($35m in cash) aiming at producing 70-80kpa from 2012.
BYR has 1.08m oz of low grade gold, mkt cap currently $92m ($7m in cash)
GRY has 1.5m oz of gold @ 2.2g/t, mkt cap currently $540m ($60+m in cash)
PRU has 5.7m oz of gold mostly around 1.2g/t, mkt cap currently $1.26b ($88m in cash) looking at producing 340kpa
It is clear to me that SBL is the most undervalued of them all.
I forgot to mention that SBL's Konongo gold project is 30kms along strike from the +50m oz Obuasi deposit.
DYOR and good luck every one
Cheers
