Hope buying shares on market will do nothing to keep the company afloat. You are just buying shares from soemone else selling them. The company needs money. If you can assist in providing them money you should contact the company and let them know. You will still get cheap shares (likely cheaper than now) but the money will go in company pockets rather than a shareholders pockets
