Like a lot of things, government, religion, economic systems, they are all sound in theory but some how human nature gets involved and tends to mess things up (not usually a conscious decision from the outset but by little decisions here and there).
"Manipulation ........ Legitimate regulation and laws come into play" this should be on the humour forum, but to most of the small players it is not very funny.
