Concur.
A takeover would give us a quick return on our investment (well, relatively speaking). In-house development of the asset and refinery, however, would give us much greater return over time. If I were given the choice, I'd rather see the project developed in house, and a solid long term return paid out to investors, than a takeover.
That said, there's a certain level at which I'd say, "yeah, okay, take us over, please". Somewhere around the two to three dollar mark would definitely do it for me. (A guy can fantasise, right?)
