If you want to see why liquids ( oil, condensate, LPGs) have a look at Woodside. For all the hype around LNG, it's main revenue and profit source remains liquids. Last I looked real close, it was 75% of the profit. That was a few years back and some of its liquid production has declined, but sure liquids would still dominate.
Engineers love LNG and big shiny things. The CFO likes liquids!
PEL 92 needs to drill for something sizeable. Last year they were drilling 120,000 bbls pimples.
