Yes I am aware this is how the system works, as I said I have myself voted to find a man accused of serious assault not guilty even though I still believe to this day that he probably committed the crime.
You are entirely mistaken if you think the testimony of one person is enough to convince twelve jurors (who have been given solemn instructions to be impartial and err on the side of not guilty unless beyond reasonable doubt) to send a person to prison.
