Its looking like to system is rigged, that's why we are so self righteous, items include
1) high court rarely agrees to review criminal cases, especial child sex offence cases 2) amount of time it took from conviction for cased being quashed, way too quick 3) amount of time it took to make a high court decision, half the time of the average 4) ex PM's coming out in support before they could review evidence 5) 3 high court judges appointed by supporting ex PM's, including the chief justice 6) royal commission differential treatment between church and other organisations, only stated what was known about church, had a go at the rest.
The PM came out and stated the high court decision should be respected, since when does a PM make a statement on a HC decision? Especially one that may loose him votes, how insidious is the churches reach?
The vic police obviously know something, otherwise they would open themselves up to so much criticism. Have they seen a confidentiality agreement involving Pell?
