Based on current iron ore pellet price and the average so far this year then $300 million would be about right. The average pellet price so far this year is US$222/tonne, the same period last year was US$240/tonne.
In AUD$ terms its about the same this year as last year, but the AUD$ v USD$ is moving up.
There is a slight increase on the cards with Shagang paying an average of the Metal Bulletin and Platts IODEX from the 1st April onwards, which should result in an extra 5%.
Unless there is a huge surge in pellet prices like last year then a 10c dividend each 6 months is tops.
