You fail to discuss the net tax positions of the above scenarios.
"Work for a living and your take-home pay is $48,383 out of $60,000 before tax, but earn a passive income from franked dividends and your take-home pay is $65,126 out of $60,000 befor 0 tax"
Passive income would generate $20 038 in net tax for Australia compared to the $11067. Tax office is far better off with the passive generator as well as having the extra $5714 interest free for what could be years before giving back the overpayment of tax that you call a rort.
As for super, different story and I don't have time to discuss here. Issue with super is the tax free status which I am sure will be changed before I retire. Fix that and most of your "rort" will vanish.
Rules are rules and apply to all here. Want change, get the rules changed. In the USA passive income is actually taxed less so it could always be worse. I will not discuss this matter further and wish you well.
