"Pellet price up to $US267.00 "
This is a new record price, the pellet price did reach around US$250, in fact the price went to
"261.83/US cents per metric tonne unit for Tubaro pellet."
It was more difficult years ago to get the latest pellet prices and there was a lot of speculation at the time.

The main difference today is the exchange rate, in AUD terms.
In September 2011 QTY Grange was receiving US$218/tonne but the average AUD $v USD$ was $1 v $1.05 = AUD$207/tonne
Today its a record in AUD$349/tonne. or A$329/t FOB
