My name on here, is more in admiration of the ancient chief librarian. I read a lot of philosophy which much legal thought is based on.
I believe he can be charged with other alleged crimes, but I doubt the Victorian Police will do anything after this disaster; because they likely viewed this to be their best opportunity/avenue to convict the Cardinal.
Maybe he has committed other crimes, but he is certainly innocent for these alleged crimes.
I think there will likely be a major internal police investigation now.
