Thanks CEB2, appreciate your efforts and don't want to get stuck on the trivia - I did do stats at Uni many years ago and am familiar with the theoretical versus reality but prefer reality. I never could get my head around allocating part of the curve to a non-existent activity, i.e. nobody bought any shares at 9.7c, hence how can it be a factor in the curve.
However, as you say, that may be just the way it is.
