You would be looking for a broker that allows you to trade on the Toronto Stock exchange TSX (codes U.U and U.UN) right? I only trade Australia domiciled equities right now and get my international exposure through ETFs and obviously companies listed in Australia that operate internationally my knowledge of trading internationally is not all that great. Last time I considered doing it I looked at interactive brokers which lists their fees for trading on the TSX but I would want to look around to see what other brokers are available and get feedback from people using those brokers. Maybe ask the ausfinance subreddit what is the best broker platform for Australians trading international shares including on the TSX.

I can add that selfwealth the broker I use which recently added US listings stated they have no current plans to add the Canadian exchange.
