My most favorite comment in the U sector this year is the remarks by the CEO of Kazatomprom: "I do not think you will see us selling any pounds in the spot market this year - not sure where traders will be getting pounds for carry trade." KAP has been flooding the market with discounted price. And now they want significantly higher U price. I think we will see a U spot price of around $40 per pound in the next few months.
