The govt must sense the decision on Penalty rates
has become its latest Achilles heel.
The sweat is pouring from the coalition ranks as they
struggle with this issue.
Its obvious they see it as a problem given Liberal Eric Abetz
wants it watered down.
The PM had laid out the coalitions case to stand by the decision
but now is somewhat back pedalling calling for the cuts to be done
gradually- whatever that means.
Its obvious this issue is a big negative for the govt as its not easy
to justify low paid workers in the hundreds of thousands
losing $77 pw.
