Not accurate, among those countries Australia is not the smallest and not an easy target.
Standing in front of every other countries to make sensitive war going claims about Taiwan, just to amuse American, is the major reason of Chinese's response. Our government's handling simply do not make business sense.
Same for the Nuclear Submarine deal.
Whether or not Chines market is important to TWE is another matter.
