This story is about an upgrade to a PAS that is in place at Pennine Acute. iSoft provides its PAS systems to more than half of the NHS trusts across the country.
The deal under NPfIT is separate...in order for CSC and iSoft to trigger payment under the NPfIT, NHS Bury, University Hospitals Morecambe Bay NHS Foundation Trust, Birmingham Women's NHS Foundation Trust and Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust (a separate trust to Pennine acute) must all go-live with Lorenzo R1.9. The first three are already live, the rest rides on Pennine Care...although it doesn't appear that the DH has given it a deadline to do so.
