"I believe progress in the WB is difficult because of Israel behaviour and control of products entering the WB"
Obviously you haven't been there, haven't you looked at a map? West Bank is connected to Jordan, theres nothing stopping goods flowing from Jordan. I've travelled from Jordan to West Bank even did it more than 30 years ago.
True there is little security leaving Israel especially overland. I crossed from Eilat to Taba in March last year, not a single backpacker besides us that day, two days latter when we left Taba we were the only people on the bus. heading south to Dahab in the Sinai. Israel does have a hefty departure tax when leaving by land borders
Israel is a great country and lovely people, pity idiots on HC don't go there and find out for themselves instead of listening to leftie BS.
Israel departure Tax
Israel border Eilat to Taba in the Sinai
- note not a sole at the border, not many backpackers ( lone travellers) most travellers to Egypt go on tours and go via Cairo
