"You DID have a vote on it" she had the gall to reply!

The Scientist replied - well, if we'd known of it when we did vote, you wouldn't be in government now.

    Big applause from the audience."

Actually Mike Penny was correct she said you got the parliment you voted for.

Now below is what the PM said the day before the election posted in the National News Paper.

If she had won an majority she could have implement this fully due to being in a minority she had to compromise to achieve the eventually outcome that was the core of the promise.

Why don't you read it as a whole instead of taking one small piece in isolation and the young lib scientist needs to do the same instead of twisting the truth the way she did.

"In an election-eve interview with The Australian, the Prime Minister revealed she would view victory tomorrow as a mandate for a carbon price, provided the community was ready for this step.

"I don't rule out the possibility of legislating a Carbon Pollution Reduction Scheme, a market-based mechanism," she said of the next parliament. "I rule out a carbon tax."

This is the strongest message Ms Gillard has sent about action on carbon pricing.

While any carbon price would not be triggered until after the 2013 election, Ms Gillard would have two potential legislative partners next term - the Coalition or the Greens. She would legislate the carbon price next term if sufficient consensus existed."
