Don't muddy the issue or change the subject - you were basically saying that leaving pollution in the atmosphere is a market based approach and I am saying that in fact it is not. It costs money to go down the tip because I can't just leave my rubbish in the street. I have to pay to get it cleaned up whether through taxes/rates (garbos) or taking it to the tip myself. That is a market based approach. Spewing emissions (CO2, particulates, other GHG's and radioactive material) into the atmosphere for zero cost is NOT a true market based approach.
