I'd have to say that's an 'unexpected' way of working out cost.
I have come to realise there are different ways to tell youself how well you done (eg. the famous selling some so the rest "don't owe you anything") but, in the end, it's about -
"What buy or sell decision do I make right now that will lead to the optimum outcome."
