I too am in favor of a Share consolidation as it cleans up the registry and presents to a new market of investors a solid company with low SOI.
A share price in the 20c range with 100m shares on issue is the sort of company that looks poised for a great market rise. And with IVZ, the share price could zoom above a dollar on farm out and heading to the ASX300.
Having said the above I am not sure it really has any effect to the bottom line. A billion shares at 2c is the same at 100m at 20c and at the end of the day we are all in this for the money which is exactly the same number. I just think it looks neater.
