Imo the issue of retirement age and accessibility of superannuation/pension vs jobs availability for younger people vs sufficient productive people within an aging population is like prodding a water bed ... there is always a reaction somewhere else on the bed to that prod and it ripples, reflects and reverberates.
There is no quick or easy fix imo ... personally, if my health permits I'd happily work in some capacity up to and even beyond 70 ... whether or not I access superannuation early is more a matter of how much can be gifted to my children as I float onwards and upwards 8))
