A specialist superannuation officer(Michael)at the ATO has informed me that the reduction of 50% for the pension drawdown for 2010/2011 has not yet become law - at this stage it is a proposal only.
I referred him to a certain SMSF website which states that you only have to drawdown 50% of the 4% and 5% etc and he said it's wrong
The government is in caretaker mode now and this matter might not be resolved until after the election
