This leaves me $150.

$10 for car reg and insurance... That will not cover it but it will help.
$15 for internet....and phone prepaid
$5 for petrol as I do not drive much
$40 for bills .... elec and gas ....water

Now I have $80 left

I eat veg that is in season and some cheese ... eggs.. nuts but not any meat or treats.
I lie .....my treat is pasta .65 cents for 500g with some grated cheese.

I forgot to mention my meds ..... that is another $20 per week at the pension price so that is good

So that is $60 ......for food ...... now here is where is goes bad.......

If you need a dentist ..... your car breaks down.... fridge or washer dies ..... you have to move!!

This has been a real eye opener for me and will live like this as best as I can and save heaps..... but for
people that have to live like this for what ever reason or crappy circumstance that has left them in this
place ..... my heart goes out to them.

And no watso I am not going to ride a bike around town to save 5 cents as I don't have one.

Hope you are well and saw you posted the other day.

Have to say; since Pica wrote about her hairdresser here I took action. Mine was charging a lot of money and there is an abundance of hairdressers right? So I started to do my own hair. Yes, saving thousands a year. No wonder my hairdresser was always having work done on her house.

So I thought I'd revisit as I'm hearing a lot around are struggling at present. There's a lot of comparing rates online at present and some finding rents way too high.

I know online buying has become a norm now and a lot of our shops are up for lease. I spoke to quite a few in town who love BNPL. Things are changing.
