Legal but not moral..... And therein lies the problem.
It's strange but I would like to know why Christian Right politicians and those that shill for them speak out at the top of their lungs on the immorality of homosexuality and same sex marriage yet remain hauntingly silent on the immorality of blatant tax evasion and the hoarding of vast amounts of wealth by the select few. I mean did Jesus not say "Children, how hard it is to enter the kingdom of God! It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of God."
I guess they just pick their fights so as not to offend their "base"....... Either that or the teachings of Jesus are more "discretionary guidelines" insofar as they are applied.
