DaveR; Australia is one of the most prominent of the just TWELVE nations thus far implicated in these global tax avoidance revelations.

So which countries make up the IGNOMINIOUS TWELVE?
    Australia, Argentina, Azerbaijan,
    China, Iceland, Iran,
    Pakistan, Panama, Russia
    Syria, United Kingdom, Zimbabwe

That's right folks, we're in the same category as Zimbabwe, Iran and Syria!

No sight of other OECD nations including Canada, France, Germany, Greece, Indonesia, Italy, Japan and of course the USA - we're apparently NOT up to their standards of scrutiny, fairness and vigilance when it comes to the wealthy and the privileged.

IMO therefore, Australia stands utterly exposed and in complete disgrace with reports that the ATO is already investigating 800 wealthy Mossack Fonseca clients while the Coalition says it's already done enough about the matter.
