No, they are not because most overseas residents don't even know there is an election looming. Much less who the contestants are. Those who have heard of Australia could care less.
I very recently spent two months in America, and I can tell you that almost nobody there has the remotest clue about Australia's politicians. Nor are they interested.
A year or so ago Julia visited Obama and we were told here at home that the Americans were swooning at her feet, addressing Congress, she was the star of the day. Well, er, sorry. I have many friends in America, and not one knew she was there, not one.
So, no, nobody else could give a toss about our election, except perhaps a few UK based company execs.
I suggest you get used to the new government. Maybe get a real job would be a good start.
